Midtown Savannah

About midtown Savannah

Midtown is where Savannah's residential life is rooted. Bounded by Victory Drive to the north, Bull Street to the west, Waters Avenue to the east, and Derenne Avenue to the south, it's one of the city's most established neighborhoods — tree-lined, unhurried, and genuinely beautiful in the way that only comes from a century of people taking care of things.

The neighborhoods here each have their own personality. Ardsley Park is Savannah's original suburb, developed starting in 1909 with a grid that echoes Oglethorpe's own plan — landscaped squares, circular parks, and some of the most architecturally varied housing stock in the city. Parkside sits just outside that boundary along Daffin Park, a 77-acre green space that's home to Grayson Stadium and the Savannah Bananas, with craftsman bungalows lining quiet streets. Kensington Park offers larger lots and a more spacious feel, with easy access to shopping and major corridors without the density of neighborhoods closer to downtown.

You're in the heart of Savannah here. That's the point.
